August 2026 data from New Jersey REALTORS® puts the statewide single family median at $644,500, up 3.1% year over year, on 2.9 months of supply. Across the eight South Jersey counties we work, single family medians run from $280,000 in Salem to $659,000 in Cape May.
Lennar is building Magnolia Place in Deptford Township, Gloucester County: 66 single-family homes on three two-story floor plans. The builder says the community is coming this fall, and all three floor plans are for sale now.
Starting in October, the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency will offer free pre-purchase counseling and homebuyer education to first-time homebuyers, one on one and in group workshops.
