Nordstrom Rack is coming to
Deptford

Nordstrom Rack has set Oct. 29 as its opening day at Deptford Town Center, 1775 Deptford Center Road. The store runs 24,500 square feet on a lease signed with the center's owner. Nordstrom Rack is the company's off-price division, selling apparel, accessories, beauty, shoes and home goods at discounts of up to 70 percent.

The building had been empty for two years before Pittsburgh-based MSP Development bought it in spring 2025 for $13.5 million and began renovating. Its previous occupants included Bed Bath & Beyond, Christmas Tree Shops, Buybuy Baby and Harmon Face Values, so the whole property had gone dark at roughly the same time.

The new roster fills it back in. Aldi, Tractor Supply and Blinds To Go are in, with Blinds To Go relocating from elsewhere in Deptford. Nordstrom Rack, First Watch, Aspen Dental and Chase Bank follow. MSP's owner, Mitchol Pappan, described the location in a news release as high-visibility and high-traffic, and said he expects the store to become a long-standing fixture there.

For Nordstrom the store is part of a wider New Jersey footprint. The company runs four namesake Nordstrom stores in the state, along with nine or ten Rack stores depending on which count you read, and reports more than 1,600 jobs statewide. Rack president Gemma Lionello said in a statement that the company is looking to grow its footprint in the Philadelphia market.
